Trial progress

PRECIOUS had a good start in the first weeks of 2018!

With the recent opening of our first site in Poland, the Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology in Warsaw, we now have sites open for recruitment in all 9 countries. We will still be opening sites in the coming weeks.


After their recent SIV (site initiating visit) Gloucestershire Royal Hospital and Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh (UK), Ospedale di Città della Pieve and Ospedale Gubbio-Gualdo Tadino (IT), Ioannina University Hospital and Larissa University Hospital (GR), received green light to start recruitment for PRECIOUS. Larissa University Hospital (GR) recruited their first two patients within weeks after the SIV.


Also Sykehuset Telemark Notodden (NO) and Royal Hallamshire Hospital (UK) recently recruited their first patients.

Top 3 recruiting centers in December 2017 and January 2018*

1. Four patients per site: Royal Hallamshire Hospital, UK (total: 4 patients) and Kings College Hospital, UK (total: 6 patients)

2. Three patients per site: Nottingham University Hospital, UK (total: 5 patients) and Haaglanden Medisch Centrum, NL (total: 12 patients)

3. Two patients per site: Larissa University Hospital, GR (total: 3 patients)

 

* With the exception of UMC Utrecht

1. University Medical Center Utrecht, NL (44 patients)

2. Haaglanden Medisch Centrum, NL (12 patients)

3. ASST di Mantova, IT (6 patients)

4. Kings College Hospital, UK (6 patients)

5. Neurologische Klinik Tubingen, University Medical Center Hamburg Eppendorf, DE, and Elisabeth-Tweesteden Ziekenhuis, NL (5 patients)
