Trial progress

With the last weeks of 2017 approaching, we have good news:

Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh (UK), East Tallinn Central Hospital (EE) and Sykehuset Telemark Notodden (NO) recently had their site initiation visit (SIV) and can hopefully start recruitment soon.


After their recent SIV Albertinen-Krankenhaus Hamburg (DE), Oslo University Hospital (NO),  Aeginition Hospital Athens (GR) and Royal Hallamshire Hospital  (UK) received the green light to start with PRECIOUS.


West Tallinn Central Hospital (EE), Ospedale di Città di Castello (IT), Elisabeth-TweeSteden Ziekenhuis (NL), Kings College Hospital and Nottingham University Hospital Trust (UK) have included their first patient(s).

Top 5 recruiting centers

1. University Medical Center Utrecht, NL (35 patients)

2. Haaglanden Medisch centrum, NL (10 patients)

3. ASST di Mantova, IT (6 patients)

4. Neurologische Klinik Tubingen, DE (5 patients)

5. University medical Center Hamburg – Eppendorf, DE  and Elisabeth-TweeSteden Ziekenhuis, NL (both 4 patients)

Total number of patients included: 92
