Trial progress

In July 2017, the team in Greece managed to obtain national ethics approval! Local approvals are expected shortly. Many thanks to our Greek colleagues for their hard work!

In the UK, the first two hospitals are now open for recruitment (Calderdale Royal Hospital and Sherwood Forest Hospital). Calderdale Royal Hospital already recruited their first two patients within weeks after the SIV (Site Initiation Visit). Two other hospitals in the UK also have had their SIV (Yeovil District Hospital and Kings College Hospital), and will be open to recruitment soon. Bridget Colam in Edinburgh has been of great help in accomplishing this.

We are very happy to announce that the first patients have been recruited in the University Medical Center Hamburg (DE), Academic Medical Center Amsterdam and Haga Hospital the Hague (NL).

Also, the recruitment in IRCCS Instituto Clinico Humanitas (IT) has started, and additional SIVs have been performed at Oslo University Hospital (NO) and East Tallinn Central Hospital (EE).

We thank all sites that have included patients over the past months for their achievement!

Total number of patients included: 61
